How it works
Everything you need to know about Roswell GA Music — for fans, artists and venues.
How it works
- What is Roswell GA Music?
- It's the local home for live music in Roswell, Georgia. Fans find shows worth going to, artists and bands build a profile and post where they're playing, and venues fill their stages. One place, all Roswell, nothing but music.
- Do I need an account to look around?
- No. Anyone can browse every show, artist, and venue for free. You only need a free account to follow artists, mark yourself “interested,” or post your own events.
- What does it cost?
- Right now, everything is free — for fans, artists, and venues. We're building the community first. Down the road we may add optional paid features (like featuring your show at the top of the page), but the core will always be free for musicians.
For fans
- How do I find shows?
- Browse “This week in Roswell” on the homepage, use the Events page to filter by genre, venue, price, or date, or search for a specific band or place.
- What does “Interested” do?
- It saves the show to your account and reminds you before it happens. Follow your favorite artists and venues, too, and you'll see their new shows first.
- How do I buy tickets?
- For paid shows, the event page has a “Get tickets” button that takes you to wherever that show sells tickets. Many shows are free — those are marked. (Buying tickets directly on Roswell GA Music is something we're planning for the future.)
For artists & bands
- How do I get on here?
- Create a free account, build your profile (photos, bio, your music, links), and post your shows. Solo acts, full bands, DJs, every genre — all welcome.
- How do I post a show?
- Three steps: who's playing, where and when, and the details. Takes a couple of minutes. You can save a draft and finish later, or duplicate a past show if you play the same spot regularly.
- Can venues find me?
- Yes — that's the point. Turn on “available for booking” on your profile, and venues browsing for talent can find you. You can also apply directly to open slots on the Booking Board.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Building your profile and posting shows costs nothing.
For venues
- What can a venue do here?
- Create a profile, post your lineup, and use the Booking Board to fill open nights — post a slot (“looking for a band, Friday the 25th”), and Roswell's musicians come to you.
- Who sees my open slots?
- Any artist on the platform can see them and apply, so you get options. You review each applicant's profile and music right here, then pick who plays.
- What does it cost a venue?
- Free right now. Later we may offer premium tools for venues, but posting your shows and slots is free.
The Booking Board
- Who can use the Booking Board?
- Venues post open slots; artists apply. It's open to everyone on the platform — it's a public marketplace for connecting Roswell talent with Roswell stages, not a private tool.
- Does money change hands through the Booking Board?
- No. It connects artists and venues; you work out the details (pay, times) directly. We just make the introduction.
Trust & safety
- Is my information secure?
- Yes. Passwords are encrypted, logins use industry-standard security, and your data is stored on a secure, backed-up database. We don't sell your data, and we don't run ads.
- Who can contact me?
- Your public profile shows only what you choose to share. Booking and messages go through the contact method you set.
- Something looks wrong / spammy — what do I do?
- Every profile and event has a report option, and we review flagged content. You can also email us any time at hello@roswellgamusic.com.
